God damn.
I think Ikki has top 5 active collection in GW. I put him up there with people like the Captain... Just so much variety, quality, dedication, and above all else breadth.
This is a true collector!

Yea, I'd probably go along with that....
But you raise an interesting question... Who has the others in the top 5... Or 10...
And no, I don't expect to feature.

you won't get an objective answer on your question max ;-)
Think the collection game is 100% subjective since everyone got it's own preferences.
One might think that the most expensive collection is the best. Someone else will say the most complete one or the most specialized one...
so no chance to compare inbetween different collections
just my 0,02$.
cheers

You're sorta right Sys.
I would say #1 is easily Kromp/Kabong if considered together.
Q8 15% double bladed, Q7 twin hammer, Q8 45/-2st Magmas and Q8 10/10 Fire Dragon (not to mention at least 3 Q7+5e Canthan) alone put them at the top....
Stuey is up there too; Ikki. I dunno, everyone is gonna have their own top 10...

I did specify active though. Akh, Cap, Herb, Eir of Asgard are def some of the best no doubt, but they haven't been on in ages I think. Can't be discluded tho.

Thank you all for your kindness!
I have to say here tho, i dont think my collection is best or one of bests, but its awesome because ive build this collection in most parts 2015-2016.
Dont think many can say the same prolly less then 15 items from hundreds i just posted ive had pre 2015.
Im proud of it and i think thats all that matters knowing the time, swet and tears i put into building it.
Personally id say kabong has the #1 collection for these reasons:
1. Its complete, every skin q8 15^50 hammer
2. Has really rare one of a kind items on it ( swamp, dwarven, ascalon, shining, clouded etc)
3. Also has alot more then that q7 hammers, more swamps and dwarvens and other mods.
Everyone has own reasons think whats #1, personally if u complete some collection makes the collection worthy. Only ever seen handful collections that can be said "complete".

Pleikki you have too many items! Save some for the rest of us mere mortals.
But really great stuff.
I have no idea who has the greatest collections - I don't have a list of what everyone has. There are some really phenomenal collections that have been posted here by many of whom I'm lucky to call friends. Everyone has their own preferences. Even using the same criterion to gauge people would come up with different people to fill the slots. And there are some collections that aren't even posted here that I'm sure are pretty amazing too.
Great stuff guys!

Very true Surge, well said.
Stu..........don't be so lazy!!!!
But yes, my #1 fave active collection(and collector) is Kabong. I even have fanboy hammers.
He was my inspiration & I blame him for making me a GW collection addict, and for my love of hammers!
Please Kabong if you read this, can you post your hammer collection one last time? "crosses fingers & toes"

Kromp and Kabong hands down has the best unique(1 of a kind) items of almost most categories not to mention duplicates of super rare skins, they had quality and quantity.
Akh and Cap had no doubt had some of best known and sought after items the game has to offer. 30/-2st magmas, most sought after shield in the history of GW.
There are so many collectors in the past that i use to see on the forums that had some incredible items that deserve a mention but my memory gets the best of me.
Also, epic stuff pleikki, loved your dedication to collecting, its a feat to collect such a vast amount of items in this day and age.
Grats

Depends on when in time you look at it.
There was a time when Aris for example had one of the best ever( top 10 imo)--he still has like 4-5 truly unique items, though they may not be most expensive or best ever.
If you limit it to current active and currently possessed items, the list changes, moves people like Burns and Stuey into Akhs territory. Also can't ignore people like Guava, or that guy who posted q8 1450 crystal other day--but we have to because we haven't seen the full collections.
I think everyone could post their top ten and we can get a definitive list as Guru dies

But let's not forget that the correct formula for the epeen size is:
((L*D)+(W/G))/(A^2) = Length times Diameter plus Weight over Girth divided by Angle of the tip squared
(oh.. and I'm not gonna vote. Like I said earlier I think every collection is different & special in it's own way - so nothing to compare)

May not be the best items in my collection but def my favorite.
After all these years, I finally collected them all.
Non-inc +30HP/+10 vs all dmg shields, Q8 and below.
Thanks to everyone who sold me these shields. It would not be possible without you guys.
